Antigypsyism

On April 4, 2024, the Academy of Justice in cooperation with Terr des Hommes in Kosovo, the project "Social Justice for Roma, Ashkali and Egyptians in Kosovo", within the framework of the Continuous Training Program are conducting the training on the topic of "Anti-Gypsyism". The trainer engaged in this activity is: Mr. Bedri Bahtiri, professor at the University of Pristina. The purpose of this training is to advance the participants knowledge regarding the meaning of anti-Gypsyism, the recognition of the origin of the Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities, which includes a complex network of historical prejudices. The training methodology is of a combined character with theoretical explanations and interactive discussions, also presenting practical cases. Beneficiaries are: Judges, professional associates, officials from the Probation Service of Kosovo, and from the free legal professions.
