Cooperative witnesses

On February 01-02, 2023, the Academy of Justice, as part of the Continuous Training Program, is conducting a training on: "Cooperative witnesses".

The trainer engaged in this training is: Agron Qalaj, prosecutor in the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor.

The purpose of this training is to advance the knowledge of the participants regarding the Institute of Cooperative Witnesses, and the proper application of the legal provisions in the submission of the request and the justification of the request for cooperating witnesses, as well as drafting of the agreement and the determination of the obligations arising from the witness agreement

In this training, the novelties of the Code of Criminal Procedure were elaborated in relation to this institution, emphasizing what is a cooperative witness, how to obtain the status of a cooperative witness-comparison with other legislatures, including the previous version of the CPC and the current CPC.

The applied methodology is of a combined character, with theoretical explanations and interactive discussions.
