Best practices in combating corruption

On 20 January 2015, Kosovo Judicial Institute within the Continuous Training Program conducted training for judges and prosecutors on: “Best practices in combating corruption”.

The aim of this training was to prepare judges and prosecutors in solving efficiently and effectively cases dealing with corruption in general and corruption cases related to public procurement.

The morning part of the training was focused on investigation of corruption offenses and special investigative techniques while in the afternoon were treated financial investigations of corruption offences, corruption related to public procurement and the submission of corruption cases before the court.

The training served as a forum where were discussed challenges and difficulties faced by judges and prosecutors in combating corruption.

Beneficiaries of this training were judges and prosecutors of Serious Department of basic and appeal level.
