Training of Trainers “Development of advanced training of trainers”

On 11- 12 June 2015, Kosovo Judicial Institute in cooperation with USAID/EROL organized a Training of Trainers relating to “Development of advanced training of trainers”.

This training aimed to advance the teaching strategies of judicial trainers and KJI heads of program. As such this training was useful to the participants, enabling them to draft training programs and develop skills in delivering trainings for judges and prosecutors at KJI

During the training were treated various strategies and teaching methods based on experiences of judicial systems of most advanced countries. On this occasion were explained and practically demonstrated teaching methods like simulations, acting, group discussion, case study, presentations and different types of group work, including Socratic dialogue with all its nuances.

A special emphasis was paid to the importance of future trainers and explanation and illustration of advanced rules of modern cooperation, hearing circle of voices, confirmatory and contradictory quotations, and critical debate and discussion skills. During the entire training were demonstrated the challenging issues of research in alternative manner. 

Beneficiaries of this training were KJI staff dealing with development of training programs.
