On 25 June 2015, Kosovo Judicial Institute conducted training for judges and prosecutors on: “Domestic Violence”.
The purpose of this training was to advance professional skills of judges and prosecutors relating to protection measures against domestic violence, judicial protection in disputes regarding domestic violence and child protection during judicial proceedings on domestic violence cases.
Issues that were elaborated during this training were legal provisions of the Law on Protection against Domestic Violence (LPDV), Administrative Direction No. 02/2013, as well as international and regional instruments covering this field.
During the training were also discussed the duration of protection measure, execution and consequences for non-execution of protection order, as well as termination and continuation of emergent protection order.
Beneficiaries of this training were judges, prosecutors and professional associates of basic level.
