On 08 October 2015, Kosovo Judicial Institute conducted training on: “Trial of adulsts for commission of criminal offences against juveniles”.
This training aimed to further develop the theoretical knowledge and practical skills associated with court proceedings for offenses committed against a child, the difference between the respective procedure and the regular procedure in dealing with the problems and practical difficulties in applying this procedure.
As part of this training was elaborated the legal framework regulating this matter, with particular emphasis on the Criminal Procedure Code provisions and specific provisions of the Code of Juvenile Justice, conditions and specific ways of questioning the injured child, as well as the composition of panel of first and second instances.
Beneficiaries of this training were judges and prosecutors of basic instance and professional associates.
