Specialized Training Program on Development of Capacities in Fight against Corruption - Session II

On 18-19 November 2015, KJI conducted a “Specialized Training Program on Development of Capacities in Fight against Corruption - Session II”

This training session aimed at advancing knowledge about forensic analysis, interview techniques and contribute to coordination of the establishment of cooperation between relevant institutions in the fight against corruption.

Within the session initially were presented the structure, role and function of the Kosovo Forensic Agency, working methods and efficient forms relating cooperation with the agency, when requiring forensic analysis by judges and prosecutors.

During the training were also elaborated use of covert and technical measures of surveillance and investigation for detection of corruption, types, and conditions, competent persons for issuing these measures, the content and duration of orders and assistance to other authorities for implementation of these measures. Within this session, also were addressed the conditions and procedure for ordering protection of witnesses in corruption cases.

The training was interactive, where participants had the opportunity to discuss challenges and difficulties in the implementation of legal provisions and combating corruption offences.

Beneficiaries of this training were judges and prosecutors of basic instance, present also in the first session of the program.
