From 29 February to 1 March, 2015, the KJI in cooperation with EU Twinning Project for Strengthening probation and correctional services in Kosovo organizes the training on the topic "Alternative punishments in Kosovo Alternative punishments" (session I- group-I).
Within this session there will be elaborated local legal framework for imposing and application of alternative punishments, judicial procedures to be pursued in the imposition of these punishment, the role of Kosovo Probation Service and utilisation of alternative punishments in Kosovo as well as the European standards and practices on imposing alternative punishments in the EU.
The beneficiaries of this training are judges and prosecutors of basic and appellate level as well as probation officers.
