September 20-26 the Academy of Justice in cooperation with the Office for International Narcotics Affairs and Rule of Law/ US Mediation and Reconciliation Service is celebrating and marking the mediation week through a roundtable organized for prosecutors, judges, lawyers and mediators. This roundtable will serve as a forum to exchange information and promote the use of alternative methods of resolving criminal mediation, as well as the work of the Chamber of Mediators.
The roundtable was conducted through open and moderated discussions on relevant topics, where participants were encouraged to share their thoughts, achievements, challenges and perspectives in mediation of criminal cases.
Gathering of information and findings from this roundtable is essential and is expected to greatly assist in planning and adapting our activities, moving forward with mediation in criminal cases.
