Liquidation of social enterprises

On 11 May 2016, within Continuous Training Program (CTP), KJI conducted training on: “Liquidation of the socially owned enterprises”.

The training aimed at tackling the dilemmas about the interpretation and implementation of the provisions of the Law on Liquidation of SOEs and the basic concepts of this law.

Within this training were elaborated the initial procedures as basis for initiating a liquidation case and decisions for liquidation, liquidation announcement, the consequences of the Board decision on liquidation and suspension of operations. Further, were also elaborated provisions of the law referring to bases and procedures for liquidation of the assets, the constituting of the Liquidation Authority, issues dealing with creditors, meeting of creditors and evidence requirements, cancellation of transactions, enterprise property in liquidation and closing of the liquidation case.

The training was conducted through interactive discussion, where were examined and elaborated the basic concepts associated with the procedures, rights and obligations of all parties involved in the liquidation issues.

Beneficiaries of this training were judges of the Supreme Court, the Special Chamber of the Supreme Court and judges of the Court of Appeal.
