Means of evidence and evidence collection

On 08 December 2016, Kosovo Judicial Institute, within the Continuous Training Program (CTP) conducted training on: “Means of evidence and evidence collection” in civil proceeding.   

The training aimed to fully evaluate the theoretical and practical aspects regarding the issue of evidence and evidence collection in civil proceedings, as such providing a contribution towards the advancement of knowledge and professional skills of judges on how to develop evidence procedures and when the court is authorized to obtain the evidence that were not proposed by the parties.

As part of this training were discussed types of evidence in contested procedure, the burden of proof in the contested procedure and provision of evidence. During the training was also discussed the facts to be proved and those that should not be proved in civil proceedings.

The methodology applied in the training was of interactive character, were the participants had the opportunity to present the challenges faced when identifying evidences in civil proceedings.

Beneficiaries of this training were judges and prosecutors of basic instance.
