On October 11-12 2018, Academy of Justice in cooperation with the UNHCR-CRPK is organizing a training on “International law on refugees”.
This training will elaborate on the following aspects: Principles and policies related to the protection of persons in need of international protection; implementation of local legislation in accordance with the principles of international law on protection of the refugee rights, respectively with the principles of the 1951 Convention on the Protection of Refugee Rights, and its 1967 Protocol; promotion of principles and policies relating to the protection of stateless persons for international protection, respectively the principles of the 1954 Convention relating to the Status of Stateless Persons and the 1961 Convention on reduction of Statelessness, development and implementation of local legislation in accordance with principles of international law on protection of the rights of stateless persons.
Beneficiaries of this training are: judges of the administrative departments from Basic Court of Pristina, and judges of the Appeals Court; and officials of the MIA- Department on Citizenship, Asylum and Migration.
