On March 22 2019, Academy of Justice within its Continuous Training Program conducted training on “Decision-making and access to environmental justice – international standards and the applicable legislation”.
This training elaborated on the following: basic notions of the Arhus Convention and the national legislation into force; ways of access to environmental information; role of the public participation in decision making and the right for access to environmental information; importance of the provisions on the right to address to the court; criminal liability in the environmental area.
Beneficiaries of this training were professional associates from the basic instance prosecutions.
