On 13 January 2010, the KJI in cooperation with Twinning Project EU-LER with the purpose of supporting the program for reformation of the Legal Education System in Kosovo, held a training session under the topic: “the importance and influence of the European Law on National Law”. The purpose of this training session was the advance of professional skills of judges and prosecutors and other professionals identified in the area of Kosovo Judiciary, in relation with the European Law and its concrete and practical implementation. The main issues discussed during this session were related to the EU law and European Convention of Human Rights, the system of remedies in European Law, tasks and duties of the national judges within its frame, Law Supremacy of European Law over National as well as the Civil Procedural Law.
