November 11-12 2019, Academy of Justice within its Initial Training Program for the newly appointed prosecutors (generation VIII) will conduct two training sessions from the Module on Criminal Procedure Code, i.e. the sub-module on “Defendant in criminal proceeding”.
Topics that are being covered in this training are: position of the defendant after the indictment is raised and during the indictment confirmation stage; position of the defendant after the indictment is raised; defendant during the stage for assessing the indictment’s lawfulness, as well as the defendant during the main hearing and the right to exercise legal remedies.
Beneficiaries of this training are the newly appointed prosecutors (generation VIII) 2019-2020.
