On 03 February 2009, the Kosovo Judicial Institute organized a roundtable discussion with the topic “General duties and powers of Public Prosecutor” During this training session were treated very important issues related Authorization given by public prosecutor to the police related to the collection of the evidences, also the issue upon theapplication of the public prosecutor for detention of remand, as well as theright of the defendant to a defense council and application of the principal legality on the initiation of investigation.
The beneficial of this roundtable were judges and prosecutors of all the regions of Kosovo as well as the officials from Kosovo Police Service.
