February 20 2020, Academy of Justice within its activities for free professions, upon the request of the Free Legal Aid Agency, supported by GIZ conducted training on Compensation of the material and immaterial damage.
Purpose of this training was to extend the participants knowledge on specific cases of cause of damage towards subjects of the law, and on correct application of the judicial procedure for damage compensation.
This training elaborated on procedures for damage compensation outside the judicial proceeding, where participants could see for practical cases of the free legal aid officials to discuss the most challenging issues with focus on: compensation of the material and immaterial damage from the insurance policy, criteria for damage compensation, the right of rent and the damage assessment.
Beneficiaries of this training were 20 free legal aid officials from all regions.
