Judicial decisions in contentious proceedings

On September 24, 2020, the Academy of Justice, within the Continuous Training Program is conducting training on "Judicial decisions in contentious proceedings."

The trainer engaged for this training was Mr. Fejzullah Rexhepi and Mr. Zenel Leku, Judges of the Appeal Court.

The purpose of this training was to advance the knowledge of the participants regarding the possibilities of rendering judgments without a main trial, the procedural conditions to be taken, how they should be drafted and what should be the content of the reasoning for decisions without a main trial.

The focus of the training was: Legal specifics for issuing each court decision according to the provisions of the LCP.

During the training were addressed: Types of court decisions according to the provisions of the Law on Contested Procedure, types of judgments according to the provisions of the LCP, legal conditions for issuing each type of judgment and the structure and content of court decisions.

The training methodology is based on interactive discussions, elaborating different cases from the case law.

Beneficiaries of this training were: Judges of the Basic Court from all regions of Kosovo and judges from the Court of Appeals.
