On December 15, 2020, the Academy of Justice, in cooperation with the International Labor Organization (ILO), organized the second workshop, on: "Engaging children in hard labor and forced labor."
The purpose of the workshop was the provision of final recommendations on this topic, as well as the validation of material prepared by the university professor Prof. Dr. Bedri Bahtiri.
During the workshop, were discussed practical issues regarding cases in Courts and the Prosecutor's Office, followed by the main issues to be addressed in the training module, the way of handling cases and legal framework in Kosovo, etc.
Beneficiaries of this workshop were Judges and Prosecutors from the Juvenile Department.
Due to the situation created by the COVID-19 pandemic, and the recommendations of the NIPH, the workshop was conducted through ZOOM platform.
