Initial training for the eighth generation newly appointed judges – Module: Personal and interpersonal skills

On March 1 - 2 2021, the theoretical training part will deliver four training sessions, under the module that relates to capacity development in the interdisciplinary competence and the soft skills.

The sub-modules are elaborating on the professional ethics, with trainer Mr. Enver Peci, President of the Supreme Court, and under this sub-module the participants will extend their knowledge on the responsibility, violations and disciplinary measures for judges, as well as the disciplinary measures for the judges.

The training will also cover the sub-module on case management with trainer Mr. Vaton Durguti, judge in the Appeals Court, that will elaborate on importance and principles of managing the case flow, as well as purpose of the work in courts and basic methods on case management and tracking of rescheduling, as well as court leadership and performance measures.

Due to the situation created by the pandemic, the training for this generation is dividend in two groups, one group will be present in the Academy whereas the other group will attend virtually and attend the training in real time, having the possibility for discussions and elaborate on cases from the court case law.

Beneficiaries of this training are the 23 newly appointed judges, two of them are of the Serbian community.
