On July 1, 2013, KJI in cooperation with UNDP / WSSI Plus has held training on the abovementioned topic.
During this session were addressed issues relating to civil procedures for protection from domestic violence, the role of a Criminal Judge in reviewing and deciding on criminal offenses related to domestic violence and the role of the state prosecutor in issues related to the protection of victims of domestic violence.
In particular was addressed the Administrative Instructions No 12/2012 and no. 02/2013 for the treatment of perpetrators of domestic violence against whom are imposed mandatory medical measures from alcohol addiction and psychotropic substances. The training was conducted through interactive discussions and practical cases related to the addressed topics.
Beneficiaries of this training were judges of various divisions from the Basic Court of the Peja, Gjakova and Prizren region.
