On 3rd July 2013, KJI in cooperation with UNDP/WSSI Plus held training on the above mentioned topic.
This training addressed the issues related to civil procedures for protection from domestic violence, the role of the criminal |Judge in reviewing and decision-taking on criminal offences related to domestic violence, as well as the role of the State Prosecutor on issues related to the protection of the victims of Domestic violence.
In particular the training addresses the Administrative Instructions No. 12/2012 and No. 02/2013 on the method of treatment of the Domestic Violence victims towards who are imposed to the mandatory medical measures on alcohol and psychotropic substances addiction. The training was completed through interactive discussions and practical cases.
Judges and professional associates from different departments of the Basic Court of Gjilan and Ferizaj Region participated in this training.
