Today, May 18, 2021, the Executive Director of the Academy of Justice, Mr. Enver Fejzullahu held a coordination meeting with the office of the Council of Europe, to continue coordinating activities on the issues of Terrorism Financing.
This meeting comes because of many discussions about advancing the development of Trainings in the field of Terrorism Financing and creating a more advanced and substantial material, which would later serve judges, prosecutors, officials of the public security agency, etc.
In the framework of the cooperation, it is intended to develop a Training of Trainers to create a qualified and professional staff of trainers in the field of Terrorism Financing and to design a comprehensive training curriculum in this field.
Participants in the meeting were representatives from the Academy of Justice, representatives, and experts from the Council of Europe office in Pristina, officials from the Agency for Public Safety, Judges from the Court of Appeals, Prosecutors from the Special Prosecution, and officials from the Financial Intelligence Unit.
