On March 21, 2013, KJI in cooperation with EULEX has organized a roundtable discussion from the criminal field on the topic “Protected Witnesses – presentation of protected witnesses before the court”.
During this roundtable were addressed issues regarding the obtaining of the evidence from vulnerable or intimidated witnesses and anonymous and protected witnesses according to the previous Code of Criminal Procedure and the Code of Criminal Procedure which is now in force. The training was conducted through short theoretical presentations, interactive discussions and issuing recommendations after obtaining the best evidence so that such evidence have an impact on the decision of the trial.
The beneficiaries of this roundtable were judges of the basic courts and prosecutors of the basic prosecution offices from all regions of Kosovo.
