Settlement of legal remedies in the Bailiff Procedure and accountability of private Bailiffs

On September 2, 2021, the Academy of Justice in collaboration with Checchi & Company Consulting Inc., as the implementer of the Commercial Justice Program within the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), continued to develop pilot training in commercial law, more precisely on: "Settlement of legal remedies in the Bailiff Procedure and accountability of private Bailiffs".

This training comes as a continuation of the process of recruiting Trainers in the Commercial field, and fulfilling the curriculum and pilot trainings provided.

The purpose of the training is for the participants to gain more knowledge about the objection and its presentation by the third person, extraordinary remedies of challanging of the decision, delays in resolving the objections, etc.

Topics on accountability in the private enforcement system, the role of the Courts and the Ministry of Justice in reporting on bailiffs' violations, as well as the review of complaints will also be discussed.

The training is taking place virtually through the ZOOM platform, as a result of pandemic security measures.

Beneficiaries of the training are: Judges of the Economic department, Judges of the general department-civil division, their professional associates as well as officials of banking and insurance institutions.
