Sub-module - Criminal Code - General part, thirteenth session, topic - "Statutory limitation"

On October 7, 2021, in the framework of the initial training program for newly appointed judges, the eighth generation (8) is being carried out theoretical training under the module "Criminal Code - general part" with trainer Mr. Burim Ademi, Judge at the Court of Appeals.

Within this training session, the topics that are being addressed are: Statute of limitations for criminal prosecution, statute of limitations for execution of sentences, beginning and termination of the term of statutory limitation of execution of sentence and non-implementation of the statutory limitation of certain criminal offenses.

The training methodology is being applied with practical cases as well as with the interactive discussion. The training is being carried out in a combined way, in person at the Academy of Justice, implementing all measures against the COVID-19 virus and online through the ‘ZOOM’ platform in real time.

Beneficiaries of the training are 24 newly appointed judges, two of whom are from the Serb community.
