November 3 2021, Academy of Justice within the Initial Training Program for the newly appointed judges (generation 8) is conducting theoretical training from the sub-module on the Criminal Procedure Code – Procedure according to legal remedies, with trainer Mr. Hashim Çollaku, judge in the Appeals Court.
This training session is covering the following: deadline for filing an appeal, types of judgments that the Appeals Court may render, in which cases the injured party may file an appeal and the procedure of action after receipt of the case motions according to the filed appeal
Training methodology is using presentation of practical cases followed with interactive discussion. The training is being held in person at the Academy premises applying protection measures against Covid-19, and is also available online via the Zoom platform.
Beneficiaries of this training are the 24 newly appointed judges, two of whom are of the Serbian community.
