Sub-module: Special procedures according to CPCRK – first session; Topic: Procedure against persons that committed crimes under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and criminal procedure involving perpetrators with mental disorders”

November 12 2021, Academy of Justice within its Initial Training program for the newly appointed judges (generation 8) is conducting theoretical training from the sub-module on Criminal Procedure Code – Special procedures according to CPCRK, with trainer Mr. Skënder Çoçaj, Judge in the Basic Court in Prizren.

First session of this training will cover the aspects like: criminal liability of natural persons; temporary and permanent mental illnesses, decelerated mental development, application of psychiatric examination, and the judgment on the capacity to undergo a trial.

Training methodology is applying practical cases followed with interactive discussions. The training is taking place in-person at the premises of the Academy of justice applying all protection measures against Covid-19.

Beneficiaries of this training are the 24 newly appointed judges, two of whom are of the Serbian Community.
