Sub-module - Juvenile Justice Code, fourth session, topic - "General provisions that characterize the procedure against juveniles"

On December 1st. 2021, in the framework of the initial training program for newly appointed judges of the eighth generation (8), theoretical training is being conducted under the sub module "Juvenile Justice Code" with Mrs. Nesrin Lushta, Judge of the Supreme Court.

Topics addressed during this session are: Age of criminal responsibility, non-trial in the absence of a juvenile, the principle of confidentiality and opportunity, the competencies of the custodial body and deprivation of liberty as a last resort and the characteristics of detention.

The training methodology applied consist of practical cases as well as interactive discussions. The training is being carried in person at the Academy of Justice by implementing all preventive measures against the COVID-19 virus.

Beneficiaries of the training are 24 newly appointed judges, two of whom are from the Serb
