On October 3, 2014, the Kosovo Judicial Institute in cooperation with B & S Europe project has conducted training on "disclosure, investigation and trial of corruption cases."
The purpose of this training was to help participants identify key indicators in the detection of corruption in public procurement, to implement properly existing legislation regarding public procurement, interpret properly the investigation procedure of criminal offences with corruption elements and support the unification of judicial practice.
This training was focused on domestic legal framework and best standards on combating corruption in public procurement.
During this session were addressed issues related to investigation plans on corruption and analysis of the essential elements of corruption offences, corruption in public procurement-specific content of the investigation plan and identification of sources of information.
The training was interactive and followed by the case law.
Beneficiaries of this training were prosecutors, judges and other professionals involved in the fight against corruption.
