On October 14th 2014, the Kosovo Judicial Institute conducted training on the topic of “Protection of personal data, information classification – security verification”.
Purpose of this training was to help the participants implement legislation on protection of personal data, correct interpretation of national and international legislation on protection of personal data and correct application of the procedure in cases of personal data violations.
During the first part of this training it was discussed about responsibilities of the State Agency for Protection of Personal Data and its role, personal data processing, principles of personal data processing and about the national and international legislation.
Second part of this training was focused on the procedure related to imposed sanctions in cases of violating the law on protection of personal data, information classification and security verification, as well as cyber crime in this area.
The training took place through practical cases and interactive discussions.
Beneficiaries of this training were judges of the Appellate Court and of the Basic Courts – Administrative department.
