On February 23, 2022, the Academy of Justice within the Continuous Training Program conducted an online training through the zoom platform on "Prohibition of Torture - Jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights".
Trainers engaged for this activity are Mr. Gazmend Bahtiri, judge in the Basic Court of Prishtina – Pudujeva branch, and Mr. Shkelzen Ibrahimi, prosecutors in the Basic Prosecution of Prishtina.
Purpose of this training is to extend the participants knowledge on prohibition of torture and the Istanbul protocol.
This training used combined methods of teaching, including theoretical aspect followed with practical cases from the court jurisprudence.
Beneficiaries of this training are judges of the Supreme Court, the Appeals Court, Basic Courts, prosecutors of the Chief State Prosecution Office, Special Prosecution and of Basic Prosecution Offices.
