On 03 December 2014, Kosovo Judicial Institute within the Continuous Training Program conducted training for judges and prosecutors on: “Professional Ethics and Deontology”.
The purpose of this training was to enhance the knowledge on judges and prosecutors conduct in accordance with the values of Code of Ethics, including implementation of the normative structure in Kosovo in an effort to implement the principles and basic rules, to integrate itself principles acceptable to the public and to eliminate situations that could be in conflict of interest and undermine their integrity
During this training were discussed issues pertaining to the values protected by codes of ethics, respect of standards for ethical conduct and dignity as the main goal for arising the public trust.
The training was also followed by discussions on judges and prosecutors responsibilities in case of violation of ethics rules.
Beneficiaries of this training were judged and prosecutors from all levels.
