On 16 December 2014, Kosovo Judicial Institute conducted training on civil field on the subject: “Real and personal servitudes”.
The purpose of this training was to assist judges in proper implementation of legal provisions regarding servitudes, distinguishing types of servitudes and deciding on judicial protection lawsuits in cases of denial and termination of servitude.
Moreover, on focus of this training were legal theoretical solutions and solutions provided by domestic law, namely the Law on Property and Other Real Rights – LPORR, servitude as property right, establishment, confirmation and termination of the right to servitude and judicial protection of servitudes.
The training was conducted by combined methods of theoretical and practical explanation, accompanied by case law examples, with the purpose of eliminating the dilemmas of judges regarding servitudes
Beneficiaries of this training were judges of basic court.
