War Crimes

On October 28–29, 2025, the Academy of Justice, within the framework of the Continuous Training Program and in cooperation with UNDP, conducted a training on the topic “War Crimes.”

The engaged trainers are Mr. Ilir Morina, Special Prosecutor at the Special Prosecution Office, and Mr. Valon Kurtaj, Judge at the Appellate Court in Pristina – Special Department.

The purpose of this training was to enhance professional knowledge on war crimes, focusing on the legal framework, investigation, and adjudication of such cases.

The training methodology combined theoretical and practical approaches, including interactive lectures and the analysis of hypothetical cases.

The beneficiaries of this training are judges, prosecutors, investigators from the Kosovo Police, and professional associates.
