Module: Evidence in criminal proceeding

November 1-8 2024, Academy of Justice within the Initial Training Program for the newly appointed judges of the 12th generation is conducting the theoretical training in six training sessions from the module on “Evidence in criminal proceeding” within the Criminal Procedure Code Module. This module is delivered with the support of the trainer Mr. Burim Ademi judge in the Appeals Court.

This module elaborated on the following: notion and types of evidence in the criminal procedure, source of evidence and the testing means, evidence according to the Criminal Procedure Code of Kosovo, expertise and covert measures of investigation and surveillance, search, international requests, proving power and the admissibility.

The training methodology is interactive discussions method based on practical cases. This module also conducted a simulation in the supreme court building, with the support also of the trainer Bashkim Hyseni judge in the Appeals Court.

Beneficiaries of the training are 31 newly appointed judges including one member of the Bosnian community.
