Juvenile Procedure

On October 20, 2026, the Academy of Justice, within the Continuous Training Program, is conducting a training session on the topic "Juvenile Procedure." The trainers engaged are Ms. Albina Shabani Rama, Judge at the Court of Appeals, and Ms. Sanije Seferi, Prosecutor at the Basic Prosecution Office in Peja. Purpose of this training is to ensure the fair and equal implementation of the procedural rights of juveniles in criminal proceedings, emphasizing detention conditions, the protection of the best interest of the child in court, and effective appeal mechanisms. The training methodology will utilize an interactive approach in the form of discussion combined with practical cases. The beneficiaries of this training are: Judges, prosecutors, and officers from the Probation Service.
