Access to effective legal remedies

May 21-22 2024, Academy of Justice in cooperation with the Council of Europe - Project for Support to the Constitutional Court in Applying and Disseminating European Human Rights Standards, within its Continuous Training organized a training on Access to Effective Legal remedies.

Trainers engaged in this activity are Mrs. Habibe Salihu prosecutor in the Special Prosecution of Kosovo, and Mr. Dren Rogova judge in the Commercial Court.

Purpose of this training was to extend the participants knowledge on the justice as an effective legal remedy, which is a crucial component of human rights according to the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) and other human right instruments.

Training methodology is a combination of theoretical presentations and interactive discussions through practical cases.

Beneficiaries are judges of the Basic Courts, prosecutors from the Appeals Prosecution, the SPRK, as well as from the Basic prosecution offices.
