Application of the Law on Establishment of the Immovable Property Rights Register

On 27 January 2015, Kosovo Judicial Institute conducted training on civil filed on: “Application of the Law on Establishment of the Immovable Property Rights Register”.    

The purpose of this training was to exchange experiences between judges and officials of the Kosovo Cadastral Agency on advancing professional knowledge in the interpretation and recognition of the role of immovable property rights register and evaluate the implementation of administrative procedures and correction procedures of the register by the Cadaster Agency Office.

During this session were discussed topics related to obtaining adequate legal actions in certain deadlines for the implementation of immovable property register procedures in Cadastral Municipal Office, the request for reconsideration of Municipal Cadastral Office decision and timing associated with the evaluation of the request for reconsideration. It was also estimated the request filed against the decision of the Municipal Cadastral Office at Kosovo Cadastral Agency as well as initiation of an administrative dispute to the competent court.

The training was developed through discussions regarding the following challenges and cooperation in overcoming difficulties faced by participants.

Beneficiaries of this training were judges of Basic Court-Administrative Department in Pristina, Judges of Appeal Court -Administrative Department and officials of the Kosovo Cadastral Agency.
