On 25 July 2022, the Executive Director of the Academy of Justice, Mr. Enver Fejzullahu and the Chairman of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, Mr. Jetish Maloku signed a Memorandum of Cooperation aiming to fulfill responsibilities deriving from the Rule of Law Strategy toward both respective institutions.
The purpose of this Memorandum is to establish cooperation between the Academy of Justice and the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council for coordination of activities with the aim of realizing the Rule of Law Strategy 2021-2026 through implementation of activities foreseen by the Action Plan of this Strategy in training area.
The Executive Director of the AJ has said that the Academy will be committed to implementing training for the prosecutorial system, offering professional, technical and organizational support, in order to raise the necessary capacities of the prosecutorial system.
On the other hand, Chairman Maloku stated that this memorandum will focus on defining and guaranteeing coordination standards and the interconnection of electronic systems to enable the exchange of information between AJ and CPC in training of prosecutors.
The Academy of Justice and the Prosecutorial Council will continue to exchange information regarding data on participation in trainings and other joint activities.
