On 23-24 October 2015, KJI organized a "Workshop on development of the Training Program for 2016".

The purpose of the workshop was the development of the training program 2016, for judges and prosecutors, based on the training needs assessment process.

KJI training program will be a one year program, consisting of professional and inter-disciplinary topics. This program is a reflection of the needs of judges and prosecutors and requirements arising from the policies of the Kosovo institutions (Euro-integration processes, the legislative agenda, and government’s priorities).

In this regard, invited experts initially analyzed the proposals drawn by KJI mechanisms used for training needs assessment, as well as KJI request on the general structure of the training program and defined topics as a priority to be addressed during 2016.

Experts also developed the concept of each training, relying on the challenges and problems faced in judicial practice of the country. The concept of each theme includes the goal that describes the topic, highlighted dilemmas and described the approach in addressing these dilemmas during training. It also contains the content and concept of training beneficiaries.

Participants in this workshop were KJI trainers among them were judges, prosecutors and representatives of KJC and KPC.
