On 09 November 2015, Kosovo Judicial Institute hosted the Director of the Justice Academy of Germany Mr. Stafan Tratz and the GZI representatives (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit).
During the meeting Mr. Tratz was informed about the work of the Kosovo Judicial Institute and the possibilities of professional cooperation between both institutions, the exchange of ideas on best practices for the organization of judicial training, in-service capacity building of judges and prosecutors, as well as raising the level of cooperation between KJI and the Justice Academy in Germany.
Director of the Justice Academy and GIZ officials expressed readiness to support KJI in capacity building for developing training curricula based on the needs and requirements of judges, prosecutors and other professionals of the judicial system.
During his stay in Kosovo, the Director of the Justice Academy of Germany also conducted training on "Evaluation Techniques of Training Needs" attended by representatives of KJI and officials responsible for training of KJC and KPC.
