On 4 November 2015, Kosovo Judicial Institute with the support of EU funded project "Further support to Legal Education Reform in Kosovo" conducted the inauguration ceremony of KJI legal library.
During this ceremony a speech was held by: Mr. Ymer Hoxha, Chairman of KJI Managing Board, from EU office, Mr. Christoff Stock, and the Project team leader Ms. Katya Dormisheva and Ligita Gjortlere.
Mr. Ymer Hoxha in his speech among others stated: "The establishment of this library is a very important step that will enable access to KJI beneficiaries on legal resources on printed and electronic version. Mr. Hoxha continued his speech thanking the European Union and IRZ Project for their contribution in this regard and encourage judges and prosecutors to use the resources of this library to make their daily work much easier."
Mr. Christoff Stock during his speech put the emphasis on the impressive collections of legal publications in English language on International Affairs and European Law, including the 3-year of subscriptions main legal magazines and databases.
During the ceremony was also highlighted that “the cooperation of the project with Kosovo Judicial Institute has brought results in the establishment of this library which is in line with international standard, and as such provides the necessary legal resources for judges, prosecutors and support staff of courts and prosecutions offices".
During the presentation, was promoted the operating platform of legal library, international legal databases accessible to KJI beneficiaries, the inventory and space which is conducive for study and research for all KJI beneficiaries.
The ceremony was attended by heads of courts, Chief prosecutors, judges, and prosecutors, representatives of local and international institutions.
