On 14 December 2015, within Contiguous Trainings, Kosovo Judicial Institute conducted training on: “Implementation of the law on taxes on immovable property”.
Purpose of this training was to enhance theoretical and practical skills on proper implementation of this law and treat dilemmas and difficulties faced during its practical implementation.
The work during this training focused on elaboration of norms regulating the object of property taxes and taxpayers, enforced allocation of taxes, punishments and interest as sanction measure for not fulfilling the tax obligation, as well as administrative complaints regarding tax bills in immovable property. Within this context, were also treated decisions relating respective complaints and legal terms for their submission.
During the training was applied a combined methodology of theoretical lecturing, explanations and practical cases from the judicial practice, where participants had the opportunity to express their ides or discuss difficulties faced during implementation of the Law on taxes on immovable property.
Beneficiaries of this training were judges of basic instance.
