October 3 2022, Academy of Justice within the Initial Training program for the first group of newly appointed judges is conducting the first training session from he sub-module on the Law on Minor Offences, with trainer Ms. Biljana Rexhiq.
This training session is covering the following aspects of the Law on Minor Offences: the minor offences, regulations, initiation and development of the minor offence procedure, the injured party, content of the claim, decision upon the claim and conducting the minor offence procedure, measures for ensuring presence of the defendant in the proceeding, summon of the defendant and witnesses, bail and detention.
Training methodology is applying practical cases and interactive discussions.
Beneficiaries of this training are 29 newly appointed judges, including two judges of the Serbian community.
