This training was intended for judges and prosecutors to recognize key elements and current trends of cybercrime in order to build and strengthen professional capacities in combating this negative phenomenon.
The training aimed to provide knowledge for judges and prosecutors regarding key elements and current trends of cybercrime in order to build and strengthen professional capacities in combating this negative phenomenon.
Within this training were also elaborated the legal framework dealing directly or indirectly with cybercrime, risks and threats faced by the society today on cyber-attacks. The training also focused on the elaboration of the cybercrime as a phenomenon, computer system and its mode of operation in general, malicious and software difficulties encountered in tracing and detection
Moreover, were also elaborated the forms of committing crimes in the field of cybercrime, which according to the data presented main targets of cyberattacks up-to-date in Kosovo have been the user accounts, banking systems and Internet Web sites.
In this context participants also discussed the fundamental problems about criminal prosecution of child pornography as a form of offences of this nature and computer terrorism as a global phenomenon.
