On July 12 2016, KJI within the Continuous Training Program (CTP), has organized training on the topic "Preliminary review of the lawsuit."
This training is intended to help participants regarding proper interpretation of the provisions of the Law on Contested Procedure, modes of applying in practice the issues regarding presumption for conducting the contentious procedure, and actions to be taken by the court in avoiding deficiencies pertaining to these presumptions.
During this training there were elaborated the practical problems related to the purpose of the preliminary investigation of the lawsuit, avoidance of procedural obstacles, court actions in the occasion of preliminary review of the lawsuit, as well as the types of decisions at this stage of the proceedings.
The training was interactive at each stage, with issues raised for discussion by participating judges to analyse the problems they encountered in practice and giving recommendations.
The beneficiaries of this training were judges of basic level from different regions of Kosovo.
