On July 14 2016, Kosovo Judicial Institute has conducted training on the topic "Disputes in declaring monetary means at Kosovo custom points".
The training aimed to address challenges in the implementation of the legal requirements for declaration of monetary means and judicial proceedings in reviewing customs' administrative acts related to monetary declarations disputes.
Within this training there were elaborated legal framework, primary and secondary, that covers the field of declaration of monetary means at Kosovo’s customs points, the authorities and procedures at customs points concerning declaration of monetary means. Further on, it was treated the procedure and judicial control of decisions of the customs authorities in the context monetary declarations.
The training was interactive in its each phase, wherein there were conducted discussions and presented cases from judicial practice of the Department of Administrative Affairs at the Basic Court in Prishtina.
The beneficiaries of this training were judges of the Department of Administrative Affairs at the Basic Court in Pristina (Fiscal Division), customs officials and officials from Finance Intelligence Unit.
