Practical training in the Kosovo Constitutional Court

On June 1st 2018, Academy of Justice within its Initial Training Program for newly appointed prosecutors, conducted the practical training at the Kosovo Constitutional Court.

Purpose of this training was to acquaint the newly appointed prosecutors with the role, mandate and functions of the Kosovo Constitutional Court.  

This practical training included presentation of the background history on establishment, organization and its functioning. It also treated main principles upon which the constitutional court operates, the structure and its relation with the executive, legislative branches and with the regular judiciary.

Furthermore it was discussed in details about the practical work of the court, its internal operation, authorized parties, the process of admission and review of the different requests presented to this court, and different levels of decision making in the Kosovo Constitutional Court.

Beneficiaries of this training were the newly appointed prosecutors of the 7th generation of ITP.
