On January 25, 2011, KJI conducted a training session from the criminal field where beneficiaries were judgesand prosecutors from all the regions of Kosovo.
The purpose of this training was to discuss about the powers of the prosecutor and his role in the criminal proceedings, while some of the objectives of this training were that the participants to be able:
· To define the role of the prosecutor in criminal proceedings;
· To develop skills regarding the powers which the prosecutor enjoys;
Participants of this seminar had the opportunity to learn the most functional practices that the prosecutor applies in cases of persecution of perpetrators of criminal offences according to the Criminal Procedure Code of Kosovo Since the beginning ofextensive investigations until the conclusion of a trial.
